Kapil Gandhi is the remaining founder of Full Lock Media. Starting the company in 2003 under a different name and purpose, he has been producing video full time since 2006. Kapil graduated from GSU in Atlanta in 2007 with a film degree, earning a vocation specialty in production management. He has worked in a variety of industry projects, from big budget television shows, commercials, documentaries, and as a show runner on several independent SAG Modified budget features. His skillset lies in his camera understanding and passion, his ideals for high efficiency production, and his vast talents in the editing bay. Kapil is a natural leader, with an appreciation for all aspects of production, and the experience and know how to back it. I would have to say any Boyz II Men, early 90s R&B. Probably “End of the Road.”
How do you take your coffee?
Mocha, super lite on the chocolate. Preferred at Octane in Atlanta, Top Pot in Seattle, Stumptown in NYC.
Most fun project you’ve worked on?
Easy: 3 weeks in Caribbean for Starwood Hotels; US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Vieques Island. Small charter planes, ferry boat rides, horses, clear kayaks and bioluminescent bays, beach hiking, near death experiences, sharks, tribal rock carvings, futbol, bumble bees, best friends, El Yunque, Jurassic Park roads, phenomenal footage and projects for our clients. Then, going back to shoot aerials two months later with Justin.
